"the place is an island on it's own and looks like a James Bond villain base from the outside. Inside it's got so many baths and just cool areas to explore. The room itself is comfortable and there's even a little convenience store near the front desk so you can get room snacks easily. I picked up some of the pickled plum udon noodles to cook at home and they were delicious! Meals are a little crowded as they're buffet style but the food itself is amazing and so many different things to try. I recommend coming here at least once and staying two nights if you can."

"Exceptionally kind and helpful staff. The set breakfast was a standout—grilled fish with a beautiful spread of side dishes. Clean and relaxing onsen with both indoor and outdoor options. Room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the bay. Bonus: separate toilet and bath/shower setup, which was convenient."

"Excellent place to stay. 5 minutes from the train station. Great breakfast, with western and Japanese alternatives. The room was great and bigger than others in big cities. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you are doing the Kumano Kodo trail, is convenient. "

"Our room in traditional Japanese style was the size of a small apartment. Beautiful woodwork and tatami-mats. Nice view of the water with comfortable sitting area. Easily walkable to train and bus station. While i don't remember signing up for it, dinner and breakfast were included and delicious."
