"Last minute booking at the end of a 6 day break travelling the west of Scotland. A very beautiful and unique hotel in a fantastic location, quiet and overlooking the water, but only 10 mins drive to Oban centre. Fantastic help on arrival by the reception and senior staff/manager to arrange a room with a bath and also late dining as we had been delayed getting there. Lovely varied menu and extensive drinks list which contributed to a fabulous evening! Great option to use the private HotTub, although we didn't have the time on this occasion, but definitely will do on our next stay. All in all, a fantastic hotel and great value!"

"Very pretty well manicured hotel my only negative was our room was over 80 degrees when we arrived. They placed welcome chocolates on each bed and they were melted and liquid because of the rooms heat. After about 2 hours with the window open and the heat turned off the room was comfortable. Very clean and roomy "
