"Stayed there with my husband and 2 dogs. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. On arrival the welcome pack was really appreciated and a lovely touch. The property is really clean and there everything you could possibly need there for a relaxing break. The scenery is breathtaking and so much to do in just short car journeys. Would recommend if you want to escape and unwind and see the beautiful scenery of Cornwall. Look forward to going back. "

"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. The actual room that was allocated to me, was situated overlooking a busy duelled road, with a...

"Communication was great. Apartment easy to find from directions & entry was simple once i got my head around the key codes. Apartment was clean & well appointed. Little bit of wear & tear but nothing to detract from the comfort & location. Have already booked up for my next stay in one of their other apartments in the same block."

"Spa felt a little out dated and felt like a swimming pool. Not a spa retreat, if I paid for a spa retreat I would have been unhappy. Stream room very basic… as an example. "Second stay at this lovely independent hotel. Even better than the first stay as no issue with a squeaky bed this time and everything else was as good as before. Great location near The Hoe and a short walk down to the city centre. Brought my car this time and parking was no problem. All staff, both on reception and at breakfast were happy and smiling, which costs nothing but makes a big difference. Look forward to returning. "
