Spacious and cozy, furnished, semi-detached house in the Pocket neighbourhood in the east end of Toronto. Located about three blocks to the north of the house is the Danforth and Queen Street East is 1.5 km to the south. The house is spread over four floors. The main floor includes a sitting room, dining room with a table that easily sits 6 people, a large sunny kitchen with a bar great for entertaining and access to the patio and laneway. We love to cook, so the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked. There is also a half-bath or water closet on the main floor. The basement has a spacious living room with TV and electric fireplace. You can log in with your streaming account or use our guest Netflix account. There is a lovely piano and a sit/stand desk and large monitor for an at-home workspace. The basement also has a full washroom with walk in shower. On the second floor you will find another full washroom with tub and shower and two bedrooms. One of those bedrooms has a twin bed (a teenage room) and the other bedroom has a full-size bed and a desk. My wife (the professor) uses one of these rooms as her study … so it already has writer’s vibes! The top floor is a large primary suite with a large standalone tub, a spa like rain shower, two vanities, and a queen size bed with two wardrobes. There is access to a large balcony. There is a laundry closet with washer and dryer on the second floor. The back garden/patio is fenced for privacy. This is a lovely, inviting home in a great neighborhood, with easy walking and biking, quick access to public transit, and parking available. It’s a great place to live!
