We were impressed by the tasteful interior and art, and also by the very friendly welcome by the sexton of the neighbouring church. Clearly a lot of effort has been put into renovating this house in a classic / antique style while making it very liveable at the same time. Then there's the spacious lawn out in front where you can relax in the shade of an actual church (ruin), and the village of Huttenrode...

Cons: One toilet in such a big house got a bit tight with 6 people (4 adults, 2 children) but it was manageable.
