「My husband and I had a great time at The Shack. Alison was prompt and communicative in the lead up to the stay and we found the property exactly as advertised. We really appreciated the breakfast and snack options, and also our interactions with the resident golden retriever, Daisy! (Who was also very obedient and could be contained if that was an issue for others!) We loved the coziness of the fireplace and will certainly try to come back in warmer months when we can make use of the outside...

「3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again.」

「Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house...

「A spotless tiny home with a window on the Vineyard at Domaine Asmara. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Winery owners and a free tasting of delicious wines and gin at the cellar door. 「This property has a lovely view from the house and wrap around verandah. It is pet friendly and our two little dogs loved running around the yard and walking on lead around the farm. The wood burning stove and gas heater warmed the kitchen and living room really well. Being city people we did miss having internet connection but it was relaxing.」
