「My teenage son and I stayed for 4 nights for his14th birthday, bc he loves to fish. It did not disappoint! The location was spectacularly gorgeous. 「We really enjoyed our stay in Oroville! This townhome is meticulously maintained with amazing views from every level. It is 4 levels with the master on the top floor. 「This is a very cute and functional lakeside cottage. We were there around New Years so the lake was frozen solid. Great vistas across the lake. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well stocked. Climate control worked great and we learned that too much heat downstairs could cause hot sleeping conditions upstairs, but we figured that out. 「First let me clarify that this was my first stay at Veranda Cottages and I did love the resort. The friendly staff, beach access, the large swimming pool area and the nightly activities were very nice. However, at this price point, I expected more. Here are some of the issues we faced during our stay: 1) The Wi-Fi password was not listed anywhere. Numerous calls and emails requesting the password went unanswered. 「This is the perfect place to camp. It was very clean. Aside coolers, ice, food and beverages, everything we needed was provided. A really cool place to star gaze. We brought our telescope and was able to see Saturn. It was very family friendly, as well as dog friendly. Highly recommend.」
