Greenbank Hotel

"We booked a balcony room overlooking the harbour with our dog. The staff on reception were wonderful. In our room there was a doggy welcome gift, treats toy poop bags. The room was large and comfortable. Robes slippers and a fan. We should have prebooked a table in the pub as it was busy, and dogs not allowed in the gorgeous restaurant, so thankfully we sat outside. Food and views were great. Close enough to stroll into town. Small green area where the dog could do her business at night and in the morning with handy bins. Hotel is very characterful. I would like to stay in the Florence Nightingale room next time. Parking around the hotel. Highly recommend."

"Excellent location for a long stay or stopover nr Falmouth. You can walk to 2 beaches…you don’t have to be super fit but it is quite difficult walking back up those hills!!. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and had a lovely meal….the food was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Breakfast was good but not a huge selection…again nicely cooked! The staff were very friendly and chatty. The building itself is beautiful but the interior needs an upgrade but that really did add to its charm. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in the peace and quiet and would not hesitate to return one day."

"The accommodation and its gardens were exceptional. They were behind a closed gate, therefore very private. I felt safe which is important to me. When I arrived, I knew that my hosts were going to be away until later in the week, they told me where to access the key to get in and left me a lovely letter welcoming me. Your accommodation was lovely very spacious tastefully decorated and very clean. Everything you could think of was at hand to make my stay easy and without a hitch. The only thing I could not find were a serving spoon & a set of tongs but I improvise and everything was okay"

"A truly lovely place to stay, moments away from Falmouth beach. The staff were wonderful with reception team especially making you feel as if nothing was too much trouble. We were originally placed in an attic room but moved into another (as available) with grace and speed. The hotel is full of nooks and crannies, the bar is impressively well stocked, the food really tasty - across the outlets - and the hydrotherapy session is not too be missed. Genuinely a delight."

"Such a magical place! Felt immediately relaxed due to the friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere created by the decor and furnishings and the tropical gardens which had both formal and secret spaces to enjoy the scenery, plants and wildlife. The Bream box close to the beach, which served drinks, snacks and pizzas in the afternoons is a fabulous facility too. Bream cove, at the end of the garden path, was a great place for a swim, especially prior to a delicious breakfast. Will definitely return and bring my family and friends to experience this beautiful hotel. A great place for a romantic or relaxed escape."

"A truly magical place to stay. You relax from the moment you arrive. Everything you need is to hand . Surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. Lots of fun was to be had crabbing and rowing around on Penny.A great position to explore all of what Cornwall has to offer. However its so lovely at Rock Cottage its difficult to leave!!! We had an amazing stay ."

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink and make our own beds!"
