Fairfield Inn by Meijers on Alexis

Very nice hotel and staff. My family and I were displaced from our home due to an ice storm (no electricity ) so this was our temporary home. The accommodations were very nice, staff was helpful, nice business center so I could access the internet, well kept pool and laundry facilities. Great breakfast in the morning with a wide variety of items for adult taste and children. Our experience there was almost nice enough for us to not remember why we were there.

Fairfield Inn

We really enjoyed this hotel! All of the staff was extremely nice, the rooms were clean and incredibly comfortable. The pool and hot tub were at the perfect temperatures! The pool is a little small but wasn't a problem for us, sometimes we were the only ones down there! I would definately recommend this hotel. It was everything we expected and more.

A very nice hotel

This hotel was spotless, classy and quiet. I would highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and out going. There are a lot of places to go eat and it's close to Miejer's. It's in a good neighborhood, I felt no fear being there alone with my 7 yr old son. The pool was smaller than I expected it to be, but not a big deal. Our bed was firm but plush, not saggy at all, very comfortable. I can't say anything negative about this hotel. I had no regrets!

Northern Toledo Hotel

The room was clean and modern. While not a luxury hotel, it more than adequately met our needs and expectations. The breakfast was decent and worth checking out. There is a business center you can use for checking email. The bed could be a bit softer and the bedding more substantial, but overall a pleasant stay.

Shower

My only issue was the shower. The handle was very loose which made it difficult to turn off and on and even change the temperature. Overall the Hotel was very nice. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was good. The location was perfect! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Check in very cordial. Breakfast staff made sure everyone was happy. Hallways were quiet & didnt hear our neighbors. Only complaint was for some reason, the king bed was so very stiff I didn't sleep well, woke up hourly. Due to other reviews, I made sure to park in front with security cameras. Hopefully they were running!

Jamboree Ohio 2010

Fairfield Inn & Suites was in a nice location and convenient to the interstate. There were many dining places located close to the hotel and within walking distance. The parking was plentiful even for a weekend stay and the staff was nice and ever so helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom stocked with clean towels, soap, shampoo, a blow dryer and a cofee pot. The beds were quite comfortable and the linens were clean. With the worry of bed bugs being spread by travelers it was nice see a spotless room. The free breakfast had many breakfast items to choose from, enough to please any appetite. The only thing I found wrong was that the noise level was a little high. At night you could hear people talking in the hallway and closing doors. The children were up and about rather early and in the pool before 9am which isnt really the hotel's fault. I could also hear people walking upstairs and other guests TV's. Over all though we had a very nice stay for one night and definitely would stay at another Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Great hotel!

I was in Toledo for a few days for work and was just looking for a hotel close to work. I was very thankful I chose this hotel. I had a very clean and spacious room. The pool area was very nice also. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. There's also shopping and restautants nearby. I will definitely stay here whenever I come to Toledo!

Recommendation for improvements

I loved the location of the hotel, as well as the room rate and cleanliness. However, they should update and put safes in the rooms like most modern hotel does. I didn't like the idea of the safe at the desk, because only the hotel had the key unlike a safe deposit box at a bank where the customer and the bank key need to be used to gain access. They could also improve the breakfast.

Our room was beautiful! It looked and smelled like it was brand new! Our only complaint was that the bed was deceiving! It was very soft and comfortable as we sat on them watching TV, but we both woke up with sore lower back muscles. However, the continental breakfast was better than we have ever had before and made up for our slight discomfort! The staff were friendly and helpful! The pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a long day of driving!

New, comfortable, convenient, great value!

Our expectations were exceeded during our one night stay at the Benore Road Fairfield Inn just off the Alexis Road exit from I-75. It was obviously newish, since everything was in tip-top shape, and there were numerous food choices almost within walking distance. It was the perfect choice for our stay!

Very new facility near I-75 exit & newer Meijer, Bob Evans, gas station, Toledo Speedway & Raceway Park. Don't expect a view from your window tho. Much better than other hotel choices in a 15 mi radius. (I previously was a resident) Staff & housekeeping called to see if everything was suitable(wow!!) I don't know if maintenance came in to fix this but I told them the bathroom door wouldn't shut & it also wouldn't lock; and lock on the window was broken. Breakfast was fine; 2nd day they were out of coffee, cups, creamer, danish, stirrers, fresh fruit but it was replenished as fast as the attendant could.

Great Hotel

I stayed here for three nights for business purposes. The room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom rather spacious for a hotel room, the bed really comfortable. All rooms are non smoking, so there was no stale smoke even in the hallways. I used the Don't Disturb door hanger and the first evening I returned to the hotel, I had a card under my door and a message on the phone saying they were sorry for being unable to clean the room. Breakfast was the standard continental (waffles, yogurt, bread, bagels, etc), but there was an attendant present to make the waffles and keep the area clean and restocked. It was a great stay and I will definately be returning.
