Needed a place in a pinch, but ended up really liking the place. Showers, tubs, sauna were good. Bed was comfy. My belongings were safe.
I usually stay in a proper hostel, but if you prefer a more genuine Japanese experience, this is a great choice.
Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though.
