The room is very good, clean and quiet, what we disagree was that the cleaning was every two days. These are their rules, so prepare yourself to make your bed on vacations.

This hotel stay was the best of our entire trip. The family apartment is so thoughtfully arranged with 2 king singles @ a bunk bed. There is a familymart convenience store underneath & the best ramen & rice dishes across the road. Tokyo accomodation can be so small and we were so relieved when we checked into this beautiful property. Yonyon & Ally were so helpful at the front desk, lovely people that are always smiling. They helped us book our luggage to Osaka which was a seamless experience. Thank you Mimaru & thank you Yonyon and Ally - you are a great representation of a hotel that

I was expecting the room to look a little different compared to how it is in the photos especially because they looked VERY clean, like spotless clean. And I can is one of the few places where the rooms looked exactly like the photos. It was in fact very very clean. We initially accidentally went to a different hotel that was part of the same chain that was only five mins away from our intended one. And we were kind of in a hurry because we were trying to go to the Studio Ghibli Museum in our designated time. Even though the hotel wasn’t the one we booked they let us store our luggages and they were super understanding and helpful. After we were able to check in to our original hotel right next to Asakusa station without issues. I really liked the area we were staying in. Certainly the Asakusa neighbourhood is a good place to stay for first time travellers of Japan like myself. And since it was so close to the station using public transport was very convenient. Totally reccomend

I highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a prime spot in the heart of Asakusa, with nearly every attraction within easy walking distance. Sensoji Temple, the Asahi Building, Pain-Maison bakery, the Ninja Museum, and Tokyo Skytree, to name a few. The view of the Sumida River right next to the hotel is a lovely bonus, too. The subway station is right across from the entrance, and (maybe the best part for any trip to Japan) there’s a convenience store right below the hotel. The room was spotless, well organized, and nicely spacious. The staff were kind and attentive, always happy to go the extra mile for their guests. There are also lots of handy amenities for travelers, things like plastic bags and umbrellas are free. If you’re tired of cramped rooms, Mimaru is a great choice. My husband and I have decided to stick with the Mimaru brand wherever we travel in Japan. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Mimaru Asakusa. The staff were exceptional, so warm, kind and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They went out of their way to make our children feel welcome, and their thoughtfulness made a lasting impression on our family. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very well designed, giving us plenty of room to relax after busy days exploring Tokyo. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Asakusa with countless restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. It’s also just a short walk to public transit, making it incredibly easy to explore the rest of the city. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Mimaru Asakusa to families or anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming base in Tokyo.

Very helpfull staff, detailed cleaning every 2nd day. Great location, close to restaurants, 7/11, Temple, just next to Asakusa metro station. Great running possibilities along Sumida River. Only 18 min walk to Skytree tower. Front desk personal is not at the hotel after 22. Very comfortable beds. Ok size room for 4 people.

We loved the double rooms we stayed in on our last few days in Japan. It was clean and had enough space for eight of us. We especially love the big table in the room to sit and have a meal that we prepared or just sit down for a conversation. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We also like how convenience it was to catch the subway to the airport from this apart hotel. It was a little pricey though but we would consider it again for future stays.

Perfect room for families, staff were so friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was great to get your own private Tokyo view! The area was great and we found it easy to navigate around Tokyo with our 8 and 5 year old. Laundry at the hotel and the luggage forwarding service were also a brilliant service.

This is not a “wow” hotel with a big lobby, but it definitely has a home feel. The location was perfect! You step outside of the hotel, and there are so much to see and do! We stayed here for 8 nights as a family of 5, and it was perfect. One bedroom apartment was a perfect size. Make sure to ask for the “clothes shelves” because there are no drawers to put your clothes in. I think this place would be perfect if you are traveling with small kids because the back bedroom can be quiet after they fall asleep. Two beds can be pushed(wheeled) together to make them into a big bed so that little kids won’t fall off the bed. Bunk bed was spacious too. We specially enjoyed the location and how the rooms were separated with a sliding door. Big dining room was a plus too. We didn’t pay for the river view, but our kids really enjoyed the street view to people watch. Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English and Japanese. We would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Japan. It’s also steps away from diffent train stations. Donquihonte, dennys, Asakusa shops and restaurants, McDonald’s, karaoke, train, kimono rental, seven eleven etc are all within walking distance. One train stop to sky tree too. Oh, they also provide one size fits all comfy pjs so that you don’t have to pack one!
