The picturesque nature is perfect for wonderful hikes. You can find your own hiking trails and marvel at the rich plant and animal life. Pick berries and mushrooms and take numerous boat trips to explore the many islands. The city of Ålesund with its special architecture is also a good destination. There are many places of interest here. At Atlanterhavsparken, Northern Europe's largest saltwater aquarium and marine research center, you can experience the underwater world up close.
