"A bit of an adventure getting to the hotel as it is located at the top of a very steep drive way that meanders though a coconut and pepper plantation. Once there however, the views are great and the ambiance tranquil. The balcony overlooks tree tops, which for anyone seeking a quiet hideaway, this place is perfect."

"This is a wonderful boutique hotel full of yesteryear charm from the beautiful colonial building with its antique furniture to the spacious landscaped gardens and the pristine cold water pool. "Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."
