"Twice I have stayed at this hotel and both times the AC has made noises throughout the night that has made it difficult to sleep. This time everytime it would cut on there was a loud falling noise of something loose inside. Having checked in later at night and traveling with kids once I realized the issue I decided not to bring it to the attention of the front desk."

"This was our second time staying at this location. It’s a great hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Great location (15 minute walk to our event at Thompson-Boling Arena). Lack of self parking is my only complaint. It’s about $50 to valet park and our vehicle was so close to the entrance that we just got the key from valet upon departure."

"I room was spacious, clean and the property was well kept. However, we did have a problem with the AC in the living area of the room. It was wasn’t work, maintenance was called and they came relatively quickly to fix it. It worked for that day and the next, it stopped working again. Maintenance came again and the replaced the unit. The front desk manager called and apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a bottle of champagne but, my wife and I don’t drink. Then they offered a $30 Starbucks gift card. We accepted it but looking back, I should have demanded that one of the nights be comped. Ok the day of checkout, it felt like the AC stopped working again…."

"Check in (and out) was efficient and pleasant with Ronnie. The rooftop pool & bar/lounge is a beautiful space with nearly 360 degree view of the city. Our only suggestion, please provide a bit more shade options because it got HOT late afternoons. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Made to order omelettes, hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, waffles, oatmeal, assorted breads and pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit. And lots of room to sit and enjoy it on the Mezzanine. The city feels safe and clean, and from the hotel we were easily able to walk Market Square for drinks and dinner and to enjoy the park with live music on a Tuesday night, to the World’s Fair Exhibit & Sunsphere; and to the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and the Tennessee History Center. If you have time, take advantage of the Tennessee Riverboat sightseeing tour."
