Memorial day

We have been staying @ Ballard RV park for over 12yrs.The cabins are always clean & comfortable. Easy to get to trails for riding & close to Moab. Quiet area!

Desert get away

The property is wonderful! Everything is very clean. Perfect number of bedrooms and the kitchen is large. The trails are close which gave us a full day of riding.

Hiking

We loved our time at the Thompson House! The location was great for all of the hiking and sightseeing we did every day. The house had everything we needed for our month long stay. It was perfect!

Great as usual…

We have stayed in the Thompson House several times along with a few of Walt’s other properties. The house this trip was clean and comfortable upon arrival, as it has been every other time. We had a small hiccup with the heat this trip, which was taken care of ASAP. Walt is a great host and we highly recommend his properties.We plan to book again.

Nice, Relaxing Spacing

The space was wonderful. It was clean and spacious. It was a nice place to return to after exploring the national and state parks. It had everything we needed to prepare meals. I highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing short stay with impressive view

We had to recover due to an incidence some days ago. The distance to Moab and the next parks were acceptable. The house is located in a quiet area, sometimes you hear a train passing but this is not disturbing. Don‘t miss to visit Sego Canyon next to close to the house to see amazing petroglyphs. The house was very clean and comfortable with a really big citizen. The master bath room can be explored with a compass…😉 Air conditioning worked well.

Great place to stay

The home was clean and comfortable and very spacious for our family of 6. It was recently updated with new flooring in the living room & dining room. Very quiet town. The trains were not very frequent and typically did not pass by in the middle of the night. It was approximately 45 minutes from Moab which was nice to escape from the busyness of Jeep week. We visited Arches, Canyonlands and Goblin Valley State Park during our stay.

Utah Cabin

Extra clean well maintained cabin in Utah. Great for train enthusiast because of train tracks in the area. Close enough to Moab and the parks. Reasonably priced.

Great Getaway

We chose the property due to proximity to Moab and surrounding parks. The property was extremely clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. We all loved the openess of the kitchen and living room. Excellent Value

This spot is a favorite for our SXS riding groups as it is a less expensive and perfect location for many rides. I only wish they had a pool or each house had a hot tub!

Great place to stay close to trails but out of the busy area of town!

We stayed at the Thompson house for the second time! Great place and well taken care of property! Great communication from managers, easy to find, quiet (except for the occasional train that goes by but that didn’t bother us), and there are trails that leave right from the property! We’ll be back again for sure!

Wonderful stay!

We came to Utah to ride the trails in our razr. There are trails that you can ride to from the house and are close to the named trails in moab. The house is comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was perfect and everything very clean. We can't wait to come back in the spring!!

Lovely stay

This property turned out to be a large and clean space that welcomed pets, which we really appreciated. It’s a ways from Moab town but there’s a beautiful scenic drive of the landscape around on the way to town by way of Cisco. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware for simple meals that we made the two nights we were there. Thank you so much!

Best place to stay near moab

We love staying here. It's our 4th time. House was very clean. Staff was awesome. Thompson is beautiful. We call it radiator springs because it's just the Cars movie. I highly recommend renting from Ballard RV Park. Looking forward to our next visit.
