Whilst planning a visit to China, I came across these hanging temples. Off course I had to to go to Datong. Seen from far, look so precariously balanced on the hill top. Worth the visit.

The modernization of China has unfortunately seen many of its historical cities and landmarks destroyed. One that has been restored and untouched is the ancient walled city of Pingyao. This was one of the few times the crowds of this beautiful city weren't overwhelming and i could take in the beauty and awe of this awesome sight
