I took this in May on Madeira Island, Portugal! This is one of the most majestic sights I saw on this island paradise! Penha d'Aguia (Eagle Rock) is really impressive to see up close. It was even difficult to get all this in one photo. I need a better lens ;). I saw it after visiting a distillery in Porto da Cruz. Just a few meters away is this massive landscape! Porto da Cruz is located on the northeastern side of Madeira, definitely a picturesque part of the island! There was even some swimmers around where I took this picture. Everyone was having a good time there, either on the beach of walking along the pier :). There was other awesome views to the other side, as well. Incredible cliffs that seem to go on forever. And it was even foggy on that side, a big contrast to what you see here. I also think I saw Eagle Rock from another side, as well. And would love to return and see more views of it!!
