"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. "We’ve stayed at Chaeau du Vau twice and loved it both times , for its very relaxing, with immense grounds, plenty of local walks and for those that do - there’s a good local golf course, the breakfast is excellent, and beds very comfortable, ,- one is made to feel very much at home, can’t wait to return ."
