"The most beautiful location, the building and the welcome was perfect. My kids and dog loved being in the freedom of the countryside. We didn’t have to travel too far for an evening meal. The chateau has such wonderful charm and was clean and extremely comfortable. I had such a good night sleep. My kids slept really well too. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely exceptional! "A really great stay. A very friendly welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value. Although you had to pay for the car park it was very secure and off the street. It is brilliantly close to the centre of Metz which we thought was a great city. It is a great stopover if you are travelling to Italy or beyond."

"Fantastic size family room with separate, proper full-size single beds for the children and a big comfortable double for adults. The staff were very welcoming and pointed us in the direction of the nearest restaurants and shops after a very long day travelling. Super convenient location next to the main road network, yet only a 10 mins walk to a big supermarket and retail/restaurant complex "

"Lovely hotel"

"The Novotel in Metz was one of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in on our European tour. It is not as classy as we had expected and the decor in the room was dated especially the textured white walls. The plugs in both the sink and shower did not drain well and smelt. The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy. There is an outside pool but it is very busy with children and not very big. The price of the hotel was not reflected in the stay. The underground parking is shared and smells like a public toilet, payable at the time of leaving."

"Good price-quality ratio. It looks recently renovated. The only con is the shower, as there's no way to avoid water from spilling all over the bathroom."
