A home away from home.

A home away from home. It is not fancy, it is cozy. A place to relax. Close to Yellowstone Park, amazing fishing on the Big Horn River. Enjoy the hot mineral pools, or visit the amazing Dinosaur Center.

One of the nicest neighborhoods in town. Great friendly neighbors on each side.

Cozy house is part of a duplex, it is the back unit. There is a nice back porch with a large overhang that is very pleasant to sit under even in bad weather. It is a great place to watch the sun come up. There is also a concrete pad you can park on, or park a truck and camper next to it. If you use the back door there are no steps to get inside. A cute little house under huge beautiful silver leaf maple trees. Has outdoor barbecue grills and lots of shaded outdoor areas.

The house is located only 4 or 5 blocks from most of the restaurants in town. By driving it is only 2 minutes to almost anyplace in town.

Our Cozy house is unit #2 as it is part of a duplex.

Quick Thermop trip

We needed a comfy place to stay that could accomodate us and give everyone a little privacy. Jerry's place was very clean, comfortable, easy to find, and quiet. It was a hot day, so coming into a pre-cooled air conditioned house was delightful and just what we needed. Jerry was available if we needed anything, and while the duplex is older, it is obviously well cared for and nicely furnished. Thanks again, Jerry!

Nice place with everything you need for a family stay

My husband and I decided the last minute that we wanted to stop for a night at Thermopolis to visit the world's largest natural mineral hot spring on the way from Mt. Rushmore to Yellowstone... we searched for a hotel near the state park, and they were all sold out except for a couple of sad looking inns. I thought I would try my luck on VRBO to see if I can find something decent to stay. Jerry's duplex came up. As it was advertised, it has almost everything that you would need for a family to stay (though we didn't have children with us when we stayed there), nice and clean, well maintained, with everything, even some food in the fridge that Jerry said that we could use. It is also very close to restaurants and the state park. When we left, my husband accidentally locked his bag inside the house. We quickly called Jerry and he came within minutes to unlock the door for us. He is always very quick in responding emails. etc, and also very soft spoken. I would highly recommend Jerry's property to anyone travelling to Thermopolis, especially a larger family than 2. If our pathes cross again, I will pick Jerry's property again without any doubt.Thanks Jerry!

Tired but simple, reasonably well-priced for what you receive. The larger bedroom has a hollow-core door that opens into the laundry room of the adjacent unit, which is missing a door stop and threshold interlock, so very little sound and light dampening, and without a locking lock-set, only a very small draw-bolt that was very hard to "lock".

We were visiting family in the area and just needed a place with two bedrooms for a couple of nights. This fit our needs very well. If it's cold outside, we highly recommend that you bring your swim suit and go for a soak in one of the nearby indoor geothermal hot pools. It's a great way to warm up.

Thankful for a nice place to stay.

Jerry is super easy to work with. The house is perfectly comfortable for a place to stay as we headed out for the outdoors each day. The house has a cozy feel to it. We love the peace and quiet. We didnt even touch the remote to the TV. We will definitely book again for another Thermopolis trip.

Another Great Trip to Thermopolis

In the past year we have discovered vrbo. This property was the most comfortable stay by far. Things we liked: we actually cooked in this kitchen. We only ate 2 out of 6 meals in a restaurant. The rest we prepared here because the kitchen was well equipped. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Had a shower and tub and plenty of towels. Good hot water. Windows we could see out of. Good parking. Great neighborhood. Good instructions. Easy in easy out. Reasonable price. Spacious. Nice couches. Super clean. Extra blankets. The only thing that was hard was the tv remote but we're not super tv people and we did figure it out. This had nothing to do with the actual property. We came to enjoy Thermopolis, and that we did.
