「We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return.」

Room: the heater when turned on made such an incredible stench that we had to open the door and window for 20 minutes to clear it out. people walking by in the hall held their noses. They said its because it hadn't been turned on in a while - regardless we were there for a night, it was a chilly night, and the ac had been left on in the room so we wanted to take the chill out of the air and its stupid that we couldn't do that. 「Got this as a gift for our anniversary. This is really a wedding venue and most folks seem to stay for the wedding and are up late and making noise and then out the next day. We had a 2 night stay - no room cleaning service for the price. We were just around corner from reception which doubles as a wine bar in afternoon, hangout in evenings and breakfast bar in am. Place is somewhat old and so you hear everything. At 10:45 when they are still chatting at wine bar and then when revelers come...

When I asked for the bed sheets to be changed, the maids rolled their eyes, spoke to each other in Spanish, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of helping a guest.
