"Everything inside was inviting, modern, and well thought out. The outdoors had a great view of the pond and was magnificently peaceful (some days it was hard to make ourselves go anywhere). The host responds promptly, and all directions are clear. The in-house supplies are very generous. My only suggestion if at all possible is to try making the HVAC unit run a bit quieter."

"This gem is a special spot. Right off the road but seemingly in the middle of the woods, it has a private stone porch that overlooks a quiet pond. Big master bedroom, full kitchen, large living room with queen-size bunks. Everything's super clean. Really nice new sandwich, coffee shop, and farm-to-table grocery just 4 minutes away. Our hosts were very attentive, never intrusive, and went out of their way to respond to a last-minute request. "

"We had a good time. The place is extremely clean, and peaceful. It was nice that it was pet friendly and we could bring our dog. The pond really wasn’t for swimming and the kids were disappointed. We tried some fishing and the second day out on the canoe we did catch some small perch. The pond was really low and only a few feet deep. It’s a great place for peace and quiet. "

"The unit was comfortable and clean. We booked this place because we were visiting family in the town so mainly just used it for sleeping. After leaving the unit as we found it and following all directions in the binder left in the kitchen I received an email saying my $1500 deposit was being withheld. I immediately contacted the host Rebecca to ask if something was wrong. She didn’t know because she lives in Florida and has a “team” that takes care of the house. She assured me she would contact them and have an answer for me later that evening. I didn’t hear from her again until I contacted her again the next day. She said there was an electrical issue/water damage, something to do with an electrical outlet. That was as specific as she got, insisting that she had to have a licensed electrician come to the property before she could tell me what was wrong. I waited another 4 days for the electrician to come and then had to contact her myself again. I was told the electrician would be arriving shortly. That was the last I heard from her. Meanwhile she had rented the unit out to other people since the day we left. So I would absolutely not recommend anyone stay at this property. "
