Our stay was average, but several issues kept it from being great. Some fees were not clearly communicated in advance — particularly the additional charge for the water park, which we assumed was included in the room rate. The WiFi was unreliable throughout our stay, and the phone in our room was disconnected (actually ripped from the wall), making it difficult to reach staff when needed. The resort fee did not include anything exceptional at all. Service at the restaurant was also slower and less attentive than expected.
On a positive note, the property itself has nice potential, and the amenities could make for an enjoyable visit if better maintained and communicated. Improving transparency about fees, ensuring all in-room features are functional, and enhancing staff attentiveness would go a long way in improving the overall guest experience.
