"We stayed at this amazing cabin for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect. Peaceful and serene. It was completely stocked with utensils and even spices and coffee. It is set back in the woods and away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet was only a short drive to Murray to anything and everything you could possibly need. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful cabin in the woods."

"It would be good for the person doing the check in to let the guest know the policy on room cleaning and gathering of supplies. The system in place is ok just needs to be made known. The room doors are quite noisy when being closed. One suggestion is to add weather stripping of similar material to each door frame."

"Cool Cabin but a bit dirty and a bit broken. The deck needs work. All of the furniture & appliances could use updating. The beds are all extremely uncomfortable. Couch and recliner were visibly dirty with an ick factor. Could really use an air purifiers to cut down on the amount of dust or an After booking we learned the Pontoon boat was not included as advertised. The host was gracious enough to give us half a day free on the pontoon and we paid cash for the other half of the day. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at Heron Hideaway! Wow, that View! Even better than we expected…from every room upstairs, it was panoramic beauty! And the lake access… was easy and appears to be brand new stairs and dock. The home was clean, very well stocked, and I have to give props, even as new hosts it was clear they really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable! The location was peaceful and relaxing and easy to find. We loved the set up on main level being basically two master suites. The beds were comfortable, and everything matched the listing photos perfectly. We loved the downstairs for cozying out and watching TV! We didn’t bring our kids on this trip, but if the were there, they would have loved the sleeping arrangements downstairs!We especially loved the personal touches like the branded coffee mugs, the s’mores packets they left for us, and the fire pit outside with wood already stocked, such a fun and cozy bonus!Laura was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. We came here for a relaxing getaway and wow did we get it! I would not hesitate to recommend and we would absolutely stay here again!"
