The remodel is pretty nice. Smelled like it was a smoking room. Luckily we just bought a bag of cinnamon pinecones so we put that in the room and it covered the cigarette smell. They have a bistro and coffee bar at the main lobby. Easy to walk to downtown shops. Overall was a good place to stay for under $100.

Our stay was GREAT! Perfect location for all hikes, waterfalls and attractions. Room was clean, comfy and quiet! Staff was terrific and the cafe in adjoining hotel has the BEST coffee and super friendly staff! We will be back for sure!

This hotel is located downtown and it's right on the street, but as soon as you close the door you feel in a comfortable place. The rooms have been renovated and you are not missing anything staying in there. It's not a fancy exotic boutique hotel but a good place to stay while visiting the gorge. Recommended

The Dalles Inn was good, clean, and well maintained. Comfy bed with nice sheets/blanket. A/C worked great. Awesome food nearby. The ONLY thing was we went around and around the building to find the office to check in. It was in a hotel with a different name in front of this one. A sign would be good, or in the instructions. Staff was very helpful to ease our concern.

The Dalles Inn is situated behind another building and difficult to see. The staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. The room smelled of smoke and a different aroma. Overall the room was clean.

Older property but clean and front desk person was nice. IF going to The Dalles inn youll check in at the Rayland hotel right next door. The Rayland manages both properties.

The location was good but hard to find hotel, under two names and one way streets. Walkable to 4th of July fireworks! A highlight. Avoid brick pillars in parking area overhang.

I traveled by myself but a group of us stayed in the same hotel. The room was very clean. It's simple nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable. It was a convenient location within walking distance to restaurants and the neon museum. One of my friends was intent on seeing the neon museum so we went. The guide's passion for neon and his job made us look at neon a whole different way. We enjoyed our short stay.

Strangle set-up. These are two hotels You check-in at the Rayland hotel, which is a 3 story nice, indoor hotel. The Dalles Inn is a 2 story motel with outdoor entrances into the rooms. There is only one sign on the east bound road showing you were you are at. I circled the buildings twice to find the entrance and a parking space for my large truck. The room was nice, the bed comfortable and the pillows sweet. It was a one night stand....in that my wife and I were only sleeping there and heading to the coast. it met our needs. The shower had three or four bottles of body wash and shampoo. That was nice. There is NO breakfast but there is a coffee shop. They did have wines, soft drinks and water in the lobby.
