2/10 Terrible

"The outside firepit area was closed, the rooftop bar and hangout area was closed because they had a private event earlier that day. The main bar in the lobby area had red ropes across like they weren't supposed to be accessible but there were people at the bar. We walked to the side of the bar anyway and tried to order a drink to take to our room which didn't seem welcome then we were given the wrong drink. We were in town to attend a next day early morning state track meet event. At 1130 we were in bed but neighbors moved in to the room next door which had a steel door between us to divide. They were a younger group and apparently decided they were going to have a party. At one point we counted 13 people in there. We called the front desk and they sent up security to ask them to quiet down. There was no change. 30 mins later we called again and they sent up security again. Some people left but the party went on. We were on the 22nd floor and paid a little over $400 to be there for the night. So no amenities were available and very little sleep. Long day at track then a 4 hour drive home. Terrible experience"

"We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for a one-night stay. We had reserved a room with two beds. We were given keys to a room that had not been readied. Beds had been stripped, and used sheets and towels were piled on the floor. When we went back down to inform the desk staff, we had to wait about 15 minutes. There was a customer in front of us who was trying to check out early, and there was only one desk staff present. The staff was having problems with the hotel information system. By the time the desk staff was free to assist us, two other "helper staff" (not desk staff) had come over to try to help with solving the computer issues. When I told the desk staff about our room, they said, "So, do you want to cancel your reservation?" (!!!) I said, "No, I'd like a room that is ready.'" One of the other helper staff said they would walk around the hotel and find a room that was ready (a two-room suite), which took 30 minutes. You get the picture. Also: - HVAC not working in entire property, so no AC (lucky it wasn't too hot out) - No blankets available for sofa bed, despite 3 requests - Both TVs in our suite did not work; desk staff unable to assist us - No hotel info in the room - Only one elevator working - Hot breakfast had passable eggs and bacon; toaster far from bread/bagels; had to ask for hot drink cups; coffee not drinkable. - Parking very convenient, but signage for actual hotel spots could be improved"

"The hotel is located in the downtown area by the Play Museum. The parking lot can get full toward the evening, we luckily found a spot but something to be mindful of. Check-in was a breeze, our room was clean and nice. The bed and pillows are terrible - mattress is hard as a rock and the pillows are pretty useless. The bathroom was nice, we had a walk-in shower. We had also upgraded to the room with a wet bar, only because it didn't seem that every room had a fridge and/or microwave. It was a great sized room, several places we could put our luggage out, and the desk was a nice to have. All in all it was nice and in a good location, we just didn't sleep well because of the bed."

"I enjoyed my stay. The photo of the room was a bit deceiving: mine was much smaller. Also, I wish my room had two keys: this is a boutique hotel and they don't use keycards. Otherwise, the location was great (3 blocks from Eastman School of Music), nice breakfast with extended hours, and a very friendly and helpful staff."

"Brian & Miranda’s place was so nice inside. It was the perfect spot for my family of five since it had 3 bedrooms. Communication was so easy and so was check in and out. The best part was the homeowners provide anything and everything you could need. I’ve never stayed in a place with so many complimentary items. I appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels in the kitchen and bathroom. Highly recommend and I would stay again."
