Amazing gathering place

We stayed for a ski vacation at Targhee with our sons and their wives and all our grandchildren. It is a wonderful gathering spot for families with children. Our host was welcoming and helpful and quick to respond. The double kitchen is as amazing as it sounds for a large group. The huge gathering space makes connecting easy and fun for adults and children and the giant front entry is very convenient for all the gear. We love it. This is our 3rd year in a row returning and really appreciate the space and our accommodating hosts.

Lodging for Annual Ski Trip

Perfect for a large group with many bedrooms and a large kitchen area. We enjoyed hanging out after 3 long ski days together. Close to Grand Targhee and hour from Jackson Hole.

Wonderful

Our family booked this location to host a wedding reception. It was roomy inside, where some family slept over and we prepared all the food. The outdoor space was amazing with plenty of room for everyone. We had roughly 40 people attend but the outdoor area could accommodate more !!! A great venue for any occasion !!

Family Vacation Near the Tetons

We had a fabulous time with our kids, and grandkids in total 22 people staying at this lovely home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers etc were extra helpful with our group. Proximity to Jenny Lake was a positive, and we floated the river one day which was a hit. The little kids enjoyed the playground, lawn and blacktop area. Also loved the separate sitting areas, mounted TV's all throughout the house. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms it was comfortable for everyone. The host was easy to communicate with and responsive. We did not need any extra help during our stay. Thank you.

Perfect Reunion Stay

Teton Crest Lodge was ideal for our family reunion. The kitchen is massive with plenty of room for multiple people to cook. The rooms were also spacious. Each family took a suite and it was nice to be able to have some time away from the group when needed. The great room was big enough to accommodate all of us when we were together. We will definitely be back!

Family ski vacation

We stayed at the property 5 nights and had a wonderful time again. This was our second time. It is spacious enough that each family had their own are which is a huge plus with many small children. It is close to the ski area and the drive is beautiful getting there and back on the sunny days with stunning views of the Tetons. Also great sunsets from the back yard. The double kitchen is so well stocked it made it very easy to cook and clean up. Thank you for a great comfortable vacation!

Teton Crest Lodge Review

The place had a great big kitchen area. Two big sinks, 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators, and 2 dishwashers. Very nice for a large group. The rooms were ok. The beds were only full size. Would have preferred 2 queen beds instead of Full Size bed with bunkbeds. The internet bandwidth is not sufficient for the number of SMART TV's currently in the home along with 16 quests who each have 1-2 devices connecting to the WIFI. The TV in the main area kept losing its signal and a number of us had to disconnect our phones from the WIFI to surf the web using our phone data. Multiple speed tests showed your network only had 25.8 MBPS which is not sufficient for the number of devices connecting to your network. With a rental this large, it should really have a 1000 MBPS WIFI network.

Good place

Good location, well stocked. Could have used a larger frying pan given the place is for large groups, larger cooking proportions are needed. The suite I stayed in had a shower only option and I was too short for the spray. My nose was in the wall, or I was crouched in a corner under the spray to get my hair washed. Totally non functioning shower for a short person. Shower head could not be adjusted lower as is. Code access was great for our group as everyone had easy access to the house. Would stay here again.

Fun Family Reunion

Had a great family reunion. The lodge was close to the river so we could be fishing quickly and up to the ski hill quickly! It was a great place to all be together under one roof.

Tetons beautiful location

The property is well maintained with green grass and nice landscaping. The lodge was spotless and had plenty of room for many people. Having three suites was very nice plus we rented the apartment also. The huge kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of eating space. Two washing machines and two dryers were very helpful. Communication with the owner making the reservation was easy. There is plenty of parking. Thank you Sven for sharing the property.

Wonderful Experience

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had close proximity to everything we wanted to do. We had a group of 23 and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Sven was very good at communicating with us, always prompt to answer our questions. We are already thinking about when our next stay at this place will be. Oh, and the views were spectacular.

Family gathering ski vacation

The property is beautiful and very well prepared for all ages. We had our children wives and 9 grandkids ranging in age from under one to 13 and we were very comfortable. We could prepare meals in the large kitchen and each family has their own space. It was very quiet, a little out of town but close enough to run to the grocery store if needed and not far from the ski area.

Great Property for extended Family Ski Vacation

Exactly as described. Beds were comfy. It was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The owner was easy to contact and proactive. Snow was promptly plowed. We've rented many larger properties. This was amongst the best.

Great Location

Great Family Reunion Place!

Beautiful home with tons of gathering space. The large double kitchen is awesome. All of our children came with their spouses and kids and each had their own space, bathroom, etc. Owners were great to work with and made the whole process easy. We’ll be back!

If I could give more stars, I would!

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay in an amazing location, this is it! It is a perfect distance from Jackson Hole, Teton NP, and Yellowstone NP! We booked for a family reunion with around 20 adults and 3 teens. The house had plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor living space was so inviting with the hot tub and fire pit. The Driggs/Tetonia area had so many wonderful places to eat and visit and there is hiking just a short drive! The view is spectacular! It was the perfect location for our adventurous family!

The ultimate family reunion spot!

This lodge is PERFECT for family reunions. Seriously. This lodge not only has ample bedrooms, but also multiple superset private suites. This gave each of our families their own space with so much privacy. I didn’t have to worry at all about noise waking my kids from their naps because we had our own suite. There was also tons of parking in this spacious lot. We never struggled to fit all of our different family cars and finding the lodge was easy since it’s conveniently located right off the highway. There was also something for every age to enjoy at Sven & Jeanah’s Lodge. Our family enjoyed the playground and yard games in the large back yard. We will definitely be back here for another reunion in the future!

Nice, but.........

The house was nice, clean and as advertised. The owner is not good at responding to questions. I am still waiting for an explanation to 2 incidents that happened during our Christmas stay. I wanted to hear from them before writing a review, but it's now February and I have yet to hear from them. So here goes.... During our stay we had someone enter our rental through the private entrance on 2 occasions. 1st incident was when we were all having Christmas dinner. This person walked in (unannounced) from the door that says private; proceeded to the Christmas tree, picked up a unwrapped package under the tree and walked back through the kitchen and disappeared back through the private entrance. We all looked at each other and said what the hell was that all about? This made some in our family very uneasy. 2 days later it happened again. Same thing, went to the Christmas tree, grabbed an unwrapped package and exited through the private entrance. This time most of us were out enjoying the wintertime activities and the only ones back at the house were grandma and grandpa. Grandpa asked this person to explain themselves and they wouldn't and out they went. At this point, we're all weirded out and uneasy about what has happened and wonder what would have gone down if none of us were there. I corresponded with the owner to explain this to me and have not heard back as of 2/3/2022.

Great place for groups

We enjoyed staying at this property. The barn and yard were still under construction. Not mentioned in the listing is that the owners live on site in a part of the house attached to the house you rent. There was a door out of the kitchen that said private that leads to their residence. It was a little odd because we could hear their kids in the mornings. Also strange that it is not mentioned in the description. The other thing is that the laundry room is only available after 3:00 p.m. I'm guessing that's because the owners want to be able to use the laundry in the morning until 3:00 p.m. That also was not mentioned in the description. And one last thing is you can't use the hot tub after 10:00 p.m. I'm guessing because the hot tub is out back, closer to where the owners section is and they don't want people to be loud. That was disappointing because we got back from a wedding and wanted to use the hot tub and it was just after 10:00. House was very clean and the kitchen area was wonderful as it was huge and good for a lot of people.

Getaway
