"While the hotel is a little outdated, I really enjoyed my stay. Kind staff. The traditional Japanese styled room was big and comfortable, with the expected amenities that come with this kind of room. The bathroom was small and the toilet was slightly wonky, but not big issues. The bath was a good size, and the outdoor onsen area was nice after a long day. Laundry worked well."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful. The morning breakfast a must. The evening dining at Bar De Pan in the hotel was very accommodating and delicious. My wife loved the hot spa and message chairs. The town is magical. The Ainu village and shows were fascinating and the people very kind. The Kamuy Lumina (Enchanted Night Walk at Lake Akan) is a must. We took the shuttle from Sapporo and back to Chitose. This was also effortless and a great way to see the countryside. Thank you"

"This hotel, their staff, the food and the surrounding area make it an absolute must go to if you’re in the area. Not to mention the indigenous, Ainu village and Illumination Forest adventure, Boat trip and Everything else. Driving over from the airport we saw foxes, deer and a TSURU or crane in the wild.
