Lovely home but a couple of little niggles. We stayed at this lovely cottage for 2 nights in November 2025. There is a big garage attached to the property where you can park your car. You are not permitted to park outside of the garage due to the other properties on the plot. The garage would probably fit 2 cars if needs be. Loads of room in garage to store beach bits or waterproofs and boots.The kitchen and living area have everything you need including a smart TV, dining set comfy sofa and armchair, lots of blankets and a couple of poffes.TV is on the wall and we could not access the HDMI for our firestick - Not a major problem but would have been a bonus. The hob stopped working after breakfast on day 1 and we could not get it going again.We couldn’t find a sweeping brush which would have been handy for the wooden floors.Upstairs the bedrooms are nice with plenty of storage and the beds are comfy. We found some stray hairs in the beds which was a bit off putting but otherwise the place is spotless.Showers are OK but I’d have liked the water to be hotter since Nov can be chilly.Big big problem for us was the lack of blinds in the kids’ bedroom. This was so disappointing as the kids were up early both days! This would be even worse in the summer when the sun rises much earlier! This is such a lovely little house, close to town, but if we were to stay again I would check if blinds had been fitted in the kids bedroom.
