In der Unterkunft befanden sich zahlreiche Spinnen – was durch den fehlenden Insektenschutz an Fenstern und Türen begünstigt wurde. "Die Ferienwohnung sowie die Gegend war sehr schön. Man ist auch in relativ kurzer Zeit z.B. in Greetsiel oder auch Emden. Und auch sonst gibt es viele schöne Orte in der Region zu entdecken. Leider war das Wetter zu der Zeit nicht wirklich badefreundlich. Es wäre auch gut, wenn in der Objektbeschreibung dabei stehen würde, das hier nicht wirklich ein Sandstrand vorhanden ist. Alles in allem war es trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt."

"Absolut empfehlenswert! Ein tolles, wie es scheint frisch renoviertes Haus. Alles ist da. Für vier Personen absolut super. Alles neu und sauber. Wir waren mit unserer 2 jährigen Tochter da. Wir hatten vergessen das anzumelden und es waren leider kein Bett und kein Hochstuhl da. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war aber super unkompliziert und es wurde noch am nächsten Tag eine Lösung gefunden. Upleward ist zudem ein wunderschönes verschlafenes Dorf. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert! "

"Leider entsprach die Ferienwohnung nicht unseren Erwartungen. Die Bilder waren veraltet und vermittelten einen falschen Eindruck. Die Bettwäsche war feucht und roch muffig, und selbst nach mehreren Tagen Lüften besserte sich die Situation nicht. Außerdem war das Bad unsachgemäß gebaut, was wahrscheinlich die Feuchtigkeitsprobleme verursachte. Wir fühlten uns gesundheitlich unwohl und entdeckten zudem weitere Mängel am Bett. Daher reisten wir früher ab, was aufgrund des günstigen Preises...

"Good hotel in walking distance (15 min) to city center. The website is a bit unclear but there is no reception so you call when you are at the hotel and they remotely let you in. Which works fine. The room is fine although you do hear the neighbors answering be you clearly. But all in all a good choice and decent price/quality. "

"We had a great apartment, clean, large and well equipped, with good decor. The bed was big and very comfortable. The location is great it's very easy to access the centre of Groningen with a short walk. My only criticism would be that it was very hot and it was hard to cool the room down. That said we were there during very hot weather. But all in all, a great place to stay."
