I booked this for a “Girls Trip” to wine country while our husbands played golf in Utah. The house was exactly as pictured, very spacious, comfortable beds, lots of towels, extra blankets and pillows, and a well stocked kitchen. Flowers were blooming everywhere, and the Star Jasmine wrapped around the patio support beams smelled so good. The setting is very private and peaceful, we watched hot air balloons rising in the distance every morning, and listened to the neighborhood rooster greeting the day while we drank our coffee. The Brass Barn is a great place for a party, we had pre dinner cocktails at the bar our first night there.
The house is close to many great wineries, and we visited a few of them for wine tastings and dinners.
The only negatives I can mention is that several lightbulbs were burned out in some of the bedrooms and bathrooms, no replacements to be found, broken lamp switch, shower handle broken in one of the bathrooms, cracked window in a bedroom, and the garage remotes didn’t work, probably dead batteries. The radio connected to the sound system didn’t work either, but not as important. We only found one hairdryer and it was stuck on low, so bring your own!! The lack of adequate lighting in some of the upstairs rooms was the biggest issue, we shouldn’t have to spend our vacation time trying to find lightbulbs and batteries. Either the cleaning crew or someone, maybe the house contact, should be keeping up with things like that.
