「Stay away from this host. They are unethical and completely unreliable. We received a call 24 hours before check in to let us know they were double booked. We had received a confirmation when we booked and several communications from them even a few days before the stay. Then suddenly when we were preparing to travel to Moorea we learned they were accepting a reservation that came in after ours. I would not book at any of their properties unless you want to risk having to scramble at the last...

「This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience. 」

「The proximity to the airport, the transport to and from the airport, and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. The breakfast was not cheap $20 US, but was excellent and very convenient. We arrived late into Papeete and this was an excellent choice after a long flight. 」

「Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. 」
