Semi-rural retreat close to Shrewsbury and Telford.
A converted stable block, the property retains and reuses many of the original features and is a great space for a tranquil break or as a base for visiting many of the nearby attractions of Shropshire and nearby Wales.
With separate lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedrooms, The Stables can be a home from home, and is kitted with everything you need for your stay.
Wake refreshed after a night in a comfy bed and relax in the evenings with a glass or meal in or outside under cover in your own space, after a day out - or a day shopping in Shropshire's beautiful county town or Telford's buzzing shopping and leisure centre.
Walk over the road and through a field and sit quietly and enjoy a private space by the river Tern.
The Plough pub is just up the road and is opening this year, after a long period of closure. We now have a nearby shop for essential groceries. This is part of a substantial new development which includes an adult gym and childrens' playground.
The Shropshire Way is next to us and you can enjoy quiet strolls next to the river and in and around quiet countryside. One of the Telford Coronation walks is very close, and Wrockwardine is on its course. Very pretty views from in and around a quiet village.
Many attractions are local to here, including National Trust's Attingham Park as well as its Ironbridge Gorge Museums. Shrewsbury is our beautiful county town and worth a day out, as are Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Church Stretton, with the Carding Mill Valley. Too many to mention, but we keep a list here to help you explore.
