Rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and Sophie was an amazing hostess. Walking distance to the town centre. We took a 15-minute bus ride to the Temple of Poseidon to see the sunset. The next morning Sophie drove us to the port! It was a lovely start to our holiday, and I truly recommend it.」

The host offers rides around so that you do not have to wait for a taxi/when you cannot get one nand offers it at a great price less than that of the taxis. 「We found Daskalio after a couple cancelled ferries threw a wrench in our travel plans. Although it was not in our plans to stay there, we chose it because of the sea view and it far exceeded expectations! The rooms are simple but have everything you need, and the pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The area has many walkable beaches and a few taverns we found, as well as a good restaurant in the hotel itself.

The view from the room with the partial sea view/pool view room was excellent and we enjoyed the lounge beds and terrace area that was provided with our room.
