Access with 4x4 or AWD

You cannot get any closer to the beach than the Glinks Gully Beach House!

Large 2 storey beach house with 5 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. Spacious living area with outdoor flow and multiple entertaining areas - Eastside deck, Southside deck and Westside deck, plus a Northside outdoor courtyard
Outdoor seating, 2 Large outdoor tables and a outdoor lounge suite.

Upstairs:
2 bedrooms, large bathroom with bath, large kitchen, dinning (8 seater table) and lounge, off the kitchen is small bar room that flows onto the Eastside deck.

Downstairs:
Lounge, dining along with 3 Bedrooms, bathroom and laundry. There is a kitchenette downstairs but no oven/stove, there is also another fridge/ freezer.

We ask that you bring your own linen and towels.

BBQ

Beach is perfect for motorbikes, quads, blowcarts etc. The beach is a legal road and is the longest beach you can drive on - 107kms! Road rules apply, 30ks until you reach the open road signs on the dunes North and South of the house.

20 minute drive from Dargaville.
Access to Glinks Gully Beach House is via the beach with ALL WHEEL DRIVE or 4X4.
There is parking for 2WD vehicles by the public toilets.

20 minutes to Bayley's Beach via the beach*.
30 minutes to Omamari via the beach*.
40 minutes to Kia Iwi Lakes via the beach* (hop off at Omamari).
1 hour to Pouto Point via the beach*.

This property is exactly as owners and guests described. Perfect for large families. What we were most grateful for was all the quiet nooks and crannies that you can escape to for some quiet time. Wrap around deck amazing! Hope to come back some time! Thanks to the fantastic hosts Brent and Angela..very responsive and just down to earth awesome kiwis!!!

We were a group of elderly golfing gents and can’t speak highly enough of both the property and the communications with the proprietors. Exactly as described, the views and location right on the beach are spectacular. The bach is fully equipped and everything worked as expected. Thank you for providing the bach that gave us such a great experience.

The house location tucked in the dunes is amazing with views, privacy and a few paces and you’re on the beach. The house has all you need and we had a group who weee easily accommodated. Fabulous sunsets too!

Great classic family Bach. Well established and amazing location. A bit of fun to get to the property but really set up the adventurous weekend away. Would highly recommend. Great clear communication with hosts too, Can’t wait to go back.

This property is an absolute gem of a traditional kiwi batch. The listing and photos are accurate, it has all you need and some of the most stunning views in NZ. I can't recommend this property enough. Note: 4x4 is an absolute requirement, you will not get up the driveway without it. A tow rope is also recommended just in case.

Perfect location for a beautiful sunset. Enough beds to accommodate 20 of us. Was able to use BBQ and some pantry items!. Bach would benefit with a little upgrade though and wish it was pet-friendly. Be sure you bring your 4x4 ute as can be a little hassle to walk from the beach to the bach with so much stuff to carry. Angela is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

Great place with lots of space and well facilitated. We look the deck and view to the beach from the bach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bach and we would like to visit again in the near future. Thanks.

Loved that you could wake up to the sound of the waves and the view from the top bedroom and the beds were comfy. It was big enough for all 11 of us too. Big deck overlooking the sand dunes and only a minute to the beach. The hosts were fantastic and went over and above to courier my necklace to me that I'd left behind. Definitely planning to go back again!
