"The room was clean. Bill and Lorna were fabulous hosts. Lorna pointed out the hiking trails, telling us about the views from each trail. She also recommended other places to visit like the Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery. She also mentioned 2-3 restaurants that were open when we arrived. We chose an Italian restaurant. The food was delicious. The guest dryer didn’t work. Lorna took our wet clothes and dried them in her dryer. I would certainly stay here again."

"Very convenient location...minutes away from the Alaskan Marine Ferry dock. Clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, wish they had had an oatmeal option. Please note, this hotel does not have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, you may want to ask for a first floor room."

"Great location in Valdez with walking access to museums, restaurants breweries and the marina. We stayed two nights and never needed our car. Spotlessly clean and well-designed room with an excellent smart TV that allows us to log in to our own streaming accounts. Very nice coffee shop in the lobby. The only downside was the logistics of checking in. We got an electronic form that needed to be completed a day or so before we arrived, which was a pain we didn't need while on vacation. Then we were supposed to get an online key, but we ended up getting a text that a keycard was being placed in a lockbox. It all worked out, but it was a bit strange. There was a woman sitting in the lobby most of the time we were there, but there was no need to interact with her after the online checkin process."

"Everything was fine except the master bed is sitting on a broken bed frame so everytime you turn in bed it squeaked and the mattress on the bed downstairs is worn and sags."

"A cozy, clean apartment. Beds are really comfortable. You have grill oven outside. The one thing should be considered: the road near the apartment is under construction now, don’t follow google map. After arriving at Valdez, check the map and found out your detour on your own."
