「Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!」

「My party stayed at the other side of Loch Awe a couple of years ago and were keen to return to the area. Decided on Dalavich after driving past the village previously. 「What an amazing corner of the world. Very remote, peaceful and quiet. The hiking was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed once we had our kitchen stocked with food. My only advice is that it would be nice to know before arrival that the nearest grocery store is 90 minutes away. We could have shopped ahead of time and saved a 3 hour round trip to Oban. 「Amazing location, just as described! Incredible views from the comfortable cabin and everything we needed. Including excellent WiFi which was a must for us with a child with special needs. Walks into the forest straight from your door and facilities such as a shop/cafe and restaurant within a short walking distance. Can highly recommend the Kilchrenan inn as well, a short drive away for a special meal. Great food and kid friendly. We miss waking up to the Loch on our doorstep, made for a lovely...
