「Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. 「This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. 「We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great.」

「The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience.」
