The property is beautiful, the gardens are breathtaking, and the staff is kind and seen often working on the property. The lakeside view is exquisite, the cottage itself is absolutely charming. The location is perfect for a summer weekend. We will definitely visit again, Highly recommend.

The owner was very nice and helpful and the cost was reasonable. The property, however, was significantly unkempt and the rooms were basically maintained but dusty. The beach was lovely, despite the many broken chairs around the property. Be sure to bring your own beach items. Very quiet and laid back most of the time. I probably won't return until it has been updated. The location is absolutely perfect.

The owner of the property was a very nice gentleman. Checking in was smooth. I got some groceries before I got there. Like advertised.. the cabin I was in was fully furnished with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom, and bathroom. But this needs to be known.. my only complaint. I’m 5’5” and 270 lbs. A #2 was very difficult because of how tightly fit in the toilet location was. I think anyone very tall and/or wide will have difficulties.

I gave it a four because it was exactly what I needed, however it probably is more like a 3.5. The cabin was clean and accommodations were as listed. The inside was outdated though and the bathroom appeared to be pieced together. No issues with plumbing. There was a ceiling fan and an air conditioner which is a plus, made for comfortable sleeping. The grounds were good off the beach area, but the beach area could use a little TLC. Most of the outdoor furniture was broken in some way. There were a lot of rocks and weeds and it just looked a little unkempt. The property manager was friendly and helpful and the price was good but if you are looking for something updated and modern, you will not find it here.

The owner is absolutely the best 🙂 we feel like we are family now and feel very at home since the first time we met him and stayed there! He keeps the grounds very clean along with the cabins. He is always updating something! Very relaxing beach area and picnic areas! The other guests are responsible, respectful and mind their business every time we go. We love the vibe and area. Very peaceful ♥️ thank you to the owner for always keeping the place cozy and home feeling!! We will always be back!!! And can't wait every time!

Slighly tired cabin

The location is fantastic, right next to the beach!!!! The cottage we were give was in a somewhat dilapidated contition. Old furniture, non working lights, tired mattresses and sheets, ect. The shower cabin in the bathroom was to be handled with care, the water did not flow in addtition to the flooring being somewhat unstable. The place had cable tv which was nice.

Older but good for the price

Yes, it is an older property, but it was clean. The view was fantastic and is not too far from the town. We stayed for 5 nights as we were visiting family in Oscoda and we could not beat this price. The two bedrooms in the cabin are small but allowed our son to have his own room for privacy. The gentleman who runs this property was very nice.

You get what you pay for. Beach was PERFECT!

We wanted a beautiful beach. We had no intention of being in doors except to sleep. If that’s what you want out of your stay, this is perfect. Decor was weird. Cabins are definitely dated. Bed was not comfortable and based on reviews, we brought our own bedding and towels. However, the “community” vibe was great. We enjoyed visiting with other guests. We had a blast at the beach; it was very clean. Overall, better than having to set up a tent!

Enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view, friendly staff, cozy little cabin. Very peaceful. I read the other google reviews prior to going and did bring my own linen and tupperware/cooking utensils. The only thing I saw as an issue is that they waited to pull weeds/mow the lawn area by our cabin the day we arrived. It did make a couple ants pop up, but nothing ant spray couldn't help. Very minor. We loved our getaway and experience here and most certainly will be going back again!!
