Amazing Historic Property

I am a big of a Heritage nut and just loved this place, not only was period furnished it was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. I would recommend it staying here. On top of that the breakfast was wonderful, the lady who serves you at breakfast was so helpful.

We stayed in the Garden Cottage with our dog Summer who was also made welcome. Breakfast in the dining room of the main house was excellent.

Loved the property location. Right in the middle of town and close to cafes, museum. We seemed to be the only guests, so breakfast left in fridge. Not microwave hence bread rolls cold and hard. Fridge did not seem to have been cleaned, and one water bottle had already been opened by previous guest. Left disappointed.

Over all great place to stay and would stay again. Sitting area in the room was to clutted and update in the seating/coffee table furnishing would be good. Sticker labels on touch lamps very inappropriate for hotel setting. If the fire is not going to be set, they should remove this feature from website.

Lovely old property with lots of atmosphere and very comfortable. Highly recommend it and Wingham is a very friendly town with great cafes and coffee. We will be back.

My booking was truely last minute. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. They made me feel welcome and my turning up late was handled with ease. My room was perfect, the cooked breakfast was fabo and the building oozed with history.

A quaint hotel/guesthouse with great personaility and charm. Cleanliness was great, only comment is that the mirror in the bathroom was to high for anyone that was shorter that about 5" 10. Delicious breakfast included and many dinner options in the same street.

I liked that the property had a lot of history - it was an old bank - and the way that it had been converted to a B&B. The breakfast provided was delicious.

Wingham Central B&B

We stayed three nights in the Garden Room which is behind the Bank. Good sized room with all the necessities for a short stay. Easy no contact booking in with clear directions by text. Room was clean and the chocolates and water were a nice bonus. Bathroom is big and the shower was perfect (hot and strong). Breakfast each morning in the main house was perfectly cooked (thanks Robyn) as were the suggestions on places to visit. Happily stay there again.

We stayed for three nights, as we were attending a wedding in the area. Like staying in an antique shop! Comfortable room and bed (a little soft for me, but that's just personal preference) and nice lounge room to use as well. Great breakfast provided as part of the room rate, with good choice and friendly staff.
