「We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️」

「The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.」

「Everything perfect. Clean, Tasteful, plates glasses all high quality. Everything thought. Propane torch to light fires very cool and effective. Only room for improvement is wi-fi. Seldom works, but everything else perfect.」

「We rented this lovely cottage for a Memorial Day weekend trip. Hosted our son’s 13th birthday party with s’mores galore! The boys enjoyed the pond and walking trails. The parents enjoyed the grilling and fire pit. Pictures online didn’t do this beautiful place justice!! Thank you for the memories!」

「The house was very clean and welcoming. We loved being close to the lake but also feeling at home. Smart tvs in every room to entertain the kids after a long day on the water. Only downfall was we didn’t really get to use the hot tub because the temp was too cold. 」

「Enjoyed our stay. The peace and quiet atmosphere was awesome. There were three things that needed attention. The gas grill did not work. There was no WiFi. It worked briefly and never came back on. The DVD player was not set up.」

「We got so lucky finding this place! It will definitely be our anniversary getaway from now on! The decorations are amazing and so fun, the bed was super comfy (and I’m picky) and the water pressure in the shower was better than my own house!!!! I saw a review complaining about it being musty but it smelled exactly like a cabin should smell, just bring your favorite room spray! I brought my own kayak and my partner used a kayak provided by host and we had a BLAST! This was the PERFECT romantic...
