「The room was cleaned when we got there, but they didn’t clean after.」

「Excellent customer service, delicious breakfast, charming and unique. Will be back for sure.」

「Room was clean and had plenty of amenities. The only complaint I world have is the condensation build up on the inside of the room. It caused a lot of water build up that ran down the windows into the floor. Outside of that it was a wonderful room.」

「I thought everything was beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend to anyone traveling through the Taos area.」

「The setting and hotel were absolutely lovely! Close by but not right in the center of town, which gets pretty noisy at night. Walking distance to the Taos Plaza and numerous restaurants. Peggy, the owner, has owned and lovingly managed it for 30 years. It is the kind of place you'd love to stay for a week, relaxing in the sun in chairs on the patio and enjoying the delicious breakfasts. Would stay here again if we ever return to Taos. It's kinda hard to get there from Boston area, but so worth...

「The place seems nice on the surface but it is well overpriced for what it offers. The room did not have some basic items (e.g., a microwave oven, which would have been useful given the lack of places to eat and the likelihood that one would need to reheat some previously purchased food). The restaurant in the hotel is beyond bad (burned and oversalted brussels sprouts, dry and also oversalted sandwiches, etc.). We left the tray with the practically untouched food outside and it stayed there for...

「Unhelpful staff are the undoing of this nicely renovated hotel. Comfortable rooms and good food could not make up for apathetic attitudes of desk and wait staff. Although a short walk to historic area, it is on the main highway through town, surrounded by big box stores. Be aware of sneaky up charges for use of wifi and pool! Also no coffeemaker or tea kettle in the rooms.」

「Everything was great」

「Great location. Quiet, clean and just what we needed for our stay」

「The location was very convenient, the room was clean, and the staff was nice. The breakfasts were amazing and we enjoyed our stay very much.」

「The room was very hot and stuffy even though it was October. Had to sleep with the door open. Then a skunk came and the room smelled awful. After 2 horrible nights I gave up and left even though I had paid for 2 more nights. No apology from the staff. Do not stay here.」

「Nicolas and Anna were great hosts. Nicolas is a trained chef so the breakfasts were fantastic. Hot tub is great. Nice location to look out at mountains. Very quiet. Strong recommendation!!」

「The rooms are in desperate need of freshening up. Our curtains were held on to rail by plastic bags and the rug/upholstery were extremely stained. I know the property is old and full of history but they should definitely pay attention to some important details. It was dingy and not very welcoming.」
