Easy to get to and affordable little place to stay. Was pleased to find many wall outlets for a place that is older - appreciated the large bathroom as well. A lamp in the living area would have been nice to have, but overall this place is perfect for a comfortable sleep when skiing or fishing in the area.

Rained out in Taos

The place is great. We had tkts to a concert in Taos that got rained out. We drove there and found a nice clean cabin style room w everything in good working order. I would recommend to any and all that need a good'clean safe room in the Eagle nest area.

We got problem with electric. After we call let them know the owner shows up almost immediately to fix it. And said sorry many times. Very nice and polite.

Great location! Walkable to town. View outside the room was awesome! The bad…No Ice! Room had one tiny ice tray that only had 2 of the 8 tiny cubes even filled. No ice available at front desk as there is no front desk. Also hot water went out twice during the middle of my shower… water is very very cold up there. I was instantly mad! I rent a room for 3 main reasons, bed, shower, ice. This location failed on two of those. But everything else was above average.

Love it

I liked the setup. I like being able to park right across from my room made unloading and loading gear really easy. My only gripe is that heater. Thing stunk up the room and gave us headaches. Thankfully there was a space heater in the closet we used and the bathroom had its own heater. You know we were cold but the price and the set up for the car was super nifty. I’m functionality over glam all day. I’d definitely stay again. It has a beautiful view too. Very quiet. At least tell our last night we had some powder heads next door going buck wild. If I didn’t know how special a ski trip was I would have totally said something but since we were on our way out I didn’t worry about it.

Great place to stay

Great place to stop over while biking the Enchanted Circle. Nice bed and spacious room, with a beautiful view from the porch. Would gladly stay here again.

The cabin was such a peaceful getaway. The space was perfect for our family ski trip and away from the crowds. We love the almost ghost town feel for the winter, but I am sure it's a very busy little town once the shops and restaurants open in the summer.

This is a great place to stay - very roomy and very confident to parking - no elevator, no waiting to get to your room. Walk to town for dinner.
