"Bedding was suboptimal and toilets clogged. Additionally, very noisy due to 2 weddings in the resort that night… so not very relaxing."

"Pounding/constuction ubove my room all day ever day. Coffee machine in lobby had bubbles coming out therefore soap not rinsed out. Pot smoke in hallway coming up the stairs from workers smoking right outside the sliding door came right up the stairs. Towels were washed with a pile of yard leaves as the towels had leafs in them and stained. Not a vey clean room. "

"This place is awful!!! The electricity worked sometimes…. The room was barely passable clean, there was an electrical outlet that had wires exposed. Someone punched a hole in the wall of our bathroom. I’m pretty sure the women at the desk was drunk. I went to the desk to ask for towels there was none in our room the women at the desk popped up about 5 minutes later and told me she would bring towels in less then 10 minutes she never showed up… there where also multiple cigarette burns on the the blankets in a “non smoking room” the surrounding area is nice."

"The house was very clean and everyone in our group found the beds to be very comfortable! Great communication from the hosts. Very walkable neighborhood with quick access to the beach, coffee shop; quick drive to outlet shopping. We were very happy with our stay and would love to stay here again!"

"We stayed for a beautiful week in October with unseasonably warm weather and enjoyed everything about it! The location was perfect and close to so many things to do and eat! Heather was exceptionally helpful and communication was great from reservation to checkout. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Seahorse! The accommodations were perfect for me and my husband and my two sons and their wives. So hard to believe that were only 45 minutes away. The weather for the week was perfect and the water was surprisingly still warm for swimming and walking out to Salt Island at low tide. We also enjoyed using the corn hole, outdoor fire pit, kayaks and paddle boards. Realizing that our stay was at the end of the summer season, the outdoor patio, carpets and outdoor furniture cushions needed some cleaning. We totally understand the toll of the salt water, wind & rain on the concrete and wood signage. The interior of the home however, was impeccable. The beachy decor inspired by the ocean and shoreline was throughout the entire home. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed although we did enjoy breakfasts at Christy's just up the street. Their variey of pancakes are incredible! Also not far from there is Bills Seafood which has awesome seafood, outdoor patio dining & entertainment ... and is known as the area's "Cheers". My husband and I are looking to move to the CT coastline and possibly Westbrook, so it was so nice to stay at the Salty Seahorse and get the feel for the area.Hoping we can stay again, unless of course we purchase a home in that area! - The Russell Crew"
