"The hotel was very nice, but what made our stay so enjoyable was the Staff. In particular, both Mark McCullough at the front desk and Edda in housekeeping were exceptional. Mark was so warm and welcoming and kind at the front desk. He just couldn't have done anything more to make our stay better. As for Edda, when we were trying to combine two reservations, such that we could stay in the same room throughout our visit, she came down to the front desk to help facilitate the matter. To my wife and I, hotel staff can make or break a hotel and based on our experience, they made it awesome."

"The rooms were extremely clean and quite spacious. The staff was very helpful. I needed to have a late night zoom meeting with colleagues overseas and the staff set me up in a large conference room with excellent wifi. On one of the nights we had smores at the firepit. We parked about 50 feet from the entrance to our building. I like to run and there is an excellent short (2.6 miles round trip) running trail beginning just .3 miles from the hotel. Overall the location is simply unbeatable. Walkable to numerous restaurants and shop. The new Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum was fantastic and is right next door. All in all we had a great 3 night stay and I would highly recommend St Michaels and the Wildset! "

"The Woodland Retreat property was quiet and a good location for our fall golf trip. All beds comfortable and the place was very clean. Good hot water for showering and plenty of towels / linens. The Owner was very responsive to all questions we had prior to checkin and during our stay. The Wifi worked well. This is a heavily wooded area and we enjoyed using the firepit and grill. Plenty of room to park if multiple parties are involved. While not real close to many restaurants most will deliver and we opted for this. A nice secluded getaway. "
