Holiday Inn Express Washington DC N-Silver Spring by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, clean hallways and other public areas. All staff at every shift was cheerful, helpful, and knowlegable about the surrounding Md. and D.C. area. Two staff members in particular stand out: The young man on front desk 1/15/26 in the early am hrs (1-3) assisted me with technology on my own laptop as the hotel's computer wasn't quite working and I needed to meet a 9am deadline. The young lady on front desk morning hrs (around 6-9 am) 1/16/26 and check out 1/17, was extremely graceful under the external pressure and demands from other guests on her attention as I observed. She was teeming with knowledge about the D.C. area attractions other than the Smithsonians, and even had tips on sights in the Baltimore Md. area in which we were visiting during our stay. Again, all staff, check-in, breakfast, and check-out, were graceful, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. We intend to use this HDExpress again."
