"Hotel Nikko Awaji is best accessed from Kobe or if you are driving. Getting around is difficult without a vehicle. To see desired sights would have taken complex and time-consuming bus schedules and transfers. Awaji has no rail service. Best to come here if you are just planning to stay and relax."

"I have stayed at this hotel brand multiple times in Japan, and everything was fine until this parking guy. He was the rudest person I have ever met here. He kept a straight face the whole time and barked orders like an ICE agent: “Hey! Get the luggage out! Hey!! You need to drive your car in the garage yourself! Now!” This man lacks the most basic respect for guests. The stay itself would have been a 4.5 star rating without him. Avoid if you value polite service."
