Great stay overall. Clean room. Spa was very nice. Details of services, such as, drink and ice service after spa are amazing. Only thing that did not work for me was pillow, which might be just a coincidence.

Great service for our first hotel stay in Japan, staff was very patient and with our struggle with the language barrier and the room was clean and had enough space for 2 ppl and their bags. Pillows are very small and uncomfortable and sleep was tough to come by bc of it, but beyond that I can’t complain.

We stayed at 3 different Dormy Inns during our stay in Japan, and intend to use their hotels also in the future. While the rooms were small (but sufficient!), the prices we got were excellent, and everything was always tidy. Also the hotel services were superb, including a nice spa, noodle dinner, and free after-spa refreshments.

Lovely staff and great amenities!

This was an amazing hotel. The upstairs onsen was a huge bonus and they also have washing machines and dryers which is perfect for those doing a long travel trip. The hotel provided a lot of freebies and comfy Pjs too! The staff were so friendly and also allowed us to leave our luggage the next day whilst we explored the castle.

Wonderful hotel in Himeji

Wonderful hotel next to train station. The sauna is great (and free for guests!). Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in Japan. Well worth the price. Staff are excellent.

Good sized room very close to the station. A couple of small cleanliness issues, but mostly clean (linens and towels clean). Friendly staff at the hotel, convenient location within walking distance to the castle as well.

Rooms are quite small but have all you need. The onsen on the 12th floor is just amazing with pools of different water temperature, sauna and outside area. Accessibility great as the hotel is 300 ft south of the train/bus station.

Close to Himeji station! I walked for my entire stay here. I loved the hotspring, and with the crowd-tracker, I was able to go during a not-busy time so I could be more comfortable and relaxed! They also provide free tattoo stickers at the front desk if you ask, so this was one of the only places I could get the onsen experience at with my tattoos :) Just make sure you cover them, you can't go in without the stickers.

Right by the Himeji train station which is very convenient. A 20min walk to Himeji Castle. Great amenities. Was unable to use onsen due to tattoos but that is common for the area.

Good business hotel with comfort

Small Onsen, good breakfast with local dishes and well organised (staff was very helpful). Rooms on second floor with noise and need to be avoided. Rooms are small but well organised. If you search for a very quite hotel, would choose Daiwa Horel which is next to shooping street.

Small imperfections

Overall the hotel was great. The roof public onsen was excellent. And other facilities and staff services were also of the regular Dormy Inm high standards. My only complaint would be the old, bad smell of the 5th floor hallway and the unpleasant, tabaco-ish smell of our bathroom, even it is a non-smoking floor. The air conditioning in the guest room was also not that great. I felt the draft all night and there's no way to adjust that.
