Staff was very nice. There is a nice restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine and western cuisine. Also, they have afternoon tea/coffee service. Nice environment. However, the surrounding area is not too good.

The hotel is not located in the Taipei City. The nearest subway may take 30 mins walk. You may change the local bus + 4 mins walk to the hotel. It's much suitable for driving to the hotel and the hotel offer the free parking fir hotel guests. The room is roominess and very clean. The bed is comfortable and easy to fall to sleep. The view is a city view and the sound isolation is very good, you won't hear the noise from outside. I will recommend this hotel for those travellers who are looking for a high quality hotel standard

Great experience, would do it again!

We mainly interacted with the customer-facing staff members (front desk, restaurant), they spoke English well and extremely friendly. There is a little bit of a cultural difference (expected); my parents spoke to them in Mandarin while my wife and I spoke to them in English, the entire time they looked at my parents while speaking to them in English, my wife and I weren't offended; in this culture, you make eye contact with the adults rather than the 40-year old "kids". The rooms were clean upon arrival. However, they may be short staffed (or really busy) as we found our rooms weren't vacuumed until the 3rd time we requested for them to clean the rooms--we didn't request it daily. We have family in Taipei and it was easy for them to pick up to go to places since the hotel was right next to the freeway entrance. We didn't use public transportation but our family told us was 15-20 min. away. We did use the taxi once, the hotel helped us called for one and almost spent the entire day at the Global Shopping Mall ($125NT) about a mile away.

It's a great hotel

If u are driving and want to stay a night outside of Taipei to move North on to Yilan, Jiufen or Keelung, etc the next day, this is the right place. Rooms are spacious, clean with ample of parking space. They also have a semi-buffet breakfast with Fruit Waffle , American Breakfast and Egg Benedict, don't miss it.

This is a nice hotel that I would stay again in future. Only drawback would be that it is located inconvenient area. A nearby MRT station would be 25 minutes walk away. however, by using a bus you can go anywhere you want. It is not so difficult to use a bus as long as you have the google map in your smart phone.

The rooms and property are clean for Western standards. This is probably the best feature. There was no odor to the room. The walls are thin so you will hear neighbors if the TV are talking is louder than normal. The gym is limited with equipments, but it does have a separate sauna, jacuzzi room which is nice. The biggest negative is the breakfast. The choices for breakfast were limited and mediocre. The front desk customer service was mediocre.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Always greeted me upon arrival or departure. The fruit bowl on my floor changed every day. Cleaner gave me a different snack after room service. Now I'm on the hunt for it. Gym is small but nice and clean with reasonable A/C. Private card for the shower/hot tub/sauna area adds assurance. I do wish the sauna was a bit hotter and the hot tub was a bit cooler - but that is my personal preference as a North American. Thank you for having me!
