"The property had a great view and a convenient location. The balcony was nice. It is a little loud at night when you have the windows/balcony door open, which we did because it was warm. I appreciated the milk for coffee in the fridge. The coffeeshop across the street is fantastic as well, and the river is right there. Staff were super communicative and helpful when we had a travel-related issue. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Beautiful property. Sheep, fruit, and vegetable farms all around. Staff super nice. Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. "There seems to be improvements to what I have seen in other reviews. There are some very rowdy neighbors on the pub next to this place, avoid if light sleeper. Mattress is pretty hard, again, avoid if this bothers you. Robert was nice enough to let us store our bags for a few hours so we could go on a tour. It was an adequate experience."

"Alan and Laura are excellent hosts, going above and beyond in communication, cleanliness, helpfulness, right down to a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Our stay was everything we had hoped for, as the location was very near Inverness without being in the thick of things. The bed was comfortable, as was the nice hot shower. When we visit Scotland again, we will definitely stay with Alan and Laura again. Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality!"

"we loved this cottage and the facilities fore guests to use. The views are stunning with changing weather conditions., and daily visits from the dear were fabulous. my granddaughters loved that part and played monopoly & hide and seek in the cottage daily. Dornoch Beach is a must visit, as it is stunning and the rock pools were explored thoroughly. I would love to be here for the winter with a roaring fire and provisions and a few good books, not moving to go anywhere. Lairg does not have much...
